Public description: The object selected is an evolving art series titled Successful Supper I, II, III. It is made up of a series of 2D still images and videos created with 3D animation and CGI. The images created evoke a dinner table laden with objects not quite representing food or known vessels for carrying food. The artists play with the senses by utilizing unexpected densities and textures while animating these shapes and vessels in the videos. Sound accompanies the video turning the table and its objects into an instrument where the movement and interaction of the objects have their own unique tonal qualities. "We create imaginaries of the present and future through digital narratives. Occupying the liminal realm between physical and digital, we seek to combine technological advancements with sensual qualities to activate a digital sensuousness." "We are interested in investigating the relationship of digital technologies, materials and living things in the current and future digital and ecological shift."
