Public description: The world's first heater that runs off computing power, developed by Quarnot. Quarnot is a French company which is part of CATALYST, a pan-European project to turn to data centres into flexible multi-energy hubs. The QH-1 radiators are linked to the internet and Quarnot's computing services. Qarnot's computing platform is used for Monte-Carlo simulations in finance, 3D animation rendering, movie transcoding and more. A QH-1 can heat up a 150 to 300 sq. feet room in a building meeting modern isolation standards.
